Project Overview

Students learned about different landforms and then chose a landform to research further. They used different resources (books, anchor charts, language dives) to come up with a riddle containing at least 3 clues as to their landform. They also selected a photo of their landform to base a drawing off of. Through peer critique they improve their drawing, using colored pencils and black markers for their final product. All pieces of their riddle were assembled into the following format: the cover is their riddle, the reader then opens up the riddle to find the answer, resources used, and illustration inside.
