Project Overview
A Hero’s Journey is a collection of collaborative student writing. This student writing is reflective of the grade 6 learning expedition titled, Building Community. ELMS 6th graders began investigating the ELMS Middle School community and interviewed 8th graders and then went out into the larger Syracuse community to interview members of the community to understand how community members are interdependent. This product allows student voice to profile a hero within their community.
