Project Overview

Students examined the requirements associated with the National School Lunch Program, visited local schools, and interviewed a wide range of experts (operations staff, policy experts, registered dietitians, food vendors, and their Congresswoman). This collection includes their recommendations to the local committee tasked with selection of local food vendors as well as student written reflections on what makes a healthy lunch, what schools should serve, what guidelines the National School Lunch Program should have, and what we all can do to eat better at school.
