Format(s): Book

Subject(s): English Language Arts, Science and Technology, Visual Arts

Project Overview

Kindergarten students at the Odyssey School of Denver worked on creating informational science books featuring different insects. Each student created a book based on one insect including information on the insect's body parts, habitat, camouflage, community, metamorphosis, and other "cool facts." Each child coded the information in their book and included a labeled scientific drawing of their insect. Information presented on cards for the reader to pick up from the book also created a unique interactive aspect to these beautiful books.

How This Project Can Be Useful
