Project Overview

Students at High Tech Media Arts in San Diego, California authored this book after studying genetic engineering and the impact of genetic issues on all stages of life.

The articles each address specific issues that occur within the relationships between genetic engineering and society. The articles look at how current genetic progress and future applications may impact human life from conception to childhood, adolescence to adulthood, and beyond. Each article addresses a specific stage of life and includes relevant scientific, cultural, and economic context, as well as a related black and white photo. The articles are immediately followed by a list of resources, and a chronology is found at the back of the book. Articles were peer-edited.

Students used PhotoShop and InDesign from the Adobe Creative Suite to design this 6x9 inch book. The 260-page book is available for purchase at http://www.blurb.com/b/1860429-life-the-book?utm_source=badge&utm_medium...
