Project Overview

In this invasive species case study, students researched and participated in hands-on experiences and then communicated their knowledge of invasive species that affect their area lakes, streams, and waterways.

The final project involved the students making informative posters outlining the dangers of these exotics, and most importantly, what can be done to halt the spread of these invaders. The posters will be used as placemats at area restaurants to educate visitors of this popular tourist destination about what they can do to protect this incomparable natural resource.
