Writing Assignment Description

Fifth and sixth grade students from Shutesbury Elementary School in Shutesbury, Massachusetts created these profiles as a part of a learning expedition on local scientists.

Students chose a scientist from the community to work with and created an engaging book of profiles for young readers to celebrate the work of local scientists and motivate young students to aspire to careers in science.
