Teachers within and beyond the EL Education network are invited to submit student work for possible inclusion in the project and writing collections. All submissions are reviewed with care. The process is highly selective, and only a small percentage of submissions are included in the online collections.
What We Look For
WHAT TO EXPECT IN TERMS OF PROCESS
We accept submissions year-round. You will receive immediate confirmation that we have received your submission via email. A submissions team reviews work regularly, and you can expect a response from us within four weeks regarding inclusion on the site.
Associated Standards: What key Common Core and/or disciplinary standards does the work bring to life? List short-form titles only, e.g.: CCSS L.7.1; NGS 3-PS2; CO Physical Science 7.2. Also, if you are using curriculum from EL Education, please indicate that here!
Description: Describe pertinent context. As applicable, tell us about the students, classroom(s), teacher(s), school(s), and community partner(s) involved. If there was a larger project that resulted in this product or piece of writing, describe that. Add other details you feel would help other users better understand the work. (300 words or less)
In addition to the final student work, if possible, please include the task as described to students and the scoring tool, blank and/or scored. You may also include earlier drafts or other materials that will help others understand how the student achieved quality if you wish.
For security reasons, we cannot accept uploaded files. Please house your files in Google Drive or Dropbox, and ensure that the permission settings allow us to view your files! If you need directions, see this link for Drive
