Project Overview

This project was designed to support their learning in Expedition (Module) #2: Knowing Myself & My Community. The title of the assignment was Community Mosaic Portraits. Students created multiple drafts while building their craft in between. Through their Community Mosaic Portrait creations, students were able to draw facial features in proportion, use shapes to draw complex and difficult images, begin to understand how are and community interesect and enhance their understanding of high-quality craftsmanship.
