Students at Rocky Point Charter School in Redding, California created this book as a result of a learning expedition on heroes. Students first began with a whole class, in-depth study of researching the meaning of a hero.
These products were created by 7th-grade middle school students from Maplewood Richmond Heights Middle School. They harvest honey and beeswax from four beehives that they work to maintain.
In collaboration with renowned choreographer Heidi Latsky, students designed wearables for an installation for performers with a disability and which express aspects of the performer’s passion or character trait, or an experience they have had.
Meadow Glen Middle School has a student population of approximately 1,100 students and around 370 seventh-grade students worked together to produce this magazine.
The Fossil Hunter poems and artwork were created by third-grade students at Big Pine Elementary as part of their Fossils Tell of Earth Long Ago learning expedition. The poetry and art projects were included in a culmination fossil journal and were displayed at the Celebration of Learning.
