Writing Assignment Description

At the Springfield Renaissance School, a public high school in Springfield, Massachusetts from which Devonte is a graduate, all students must formally present to their classmates and community a series of presentations of learning called Passages. At the end of 8th and 10th grade, students give a Passage Presentation of a portfolio of work across all disciplines, including arts, fitness and character, to a community panel. At the end of 12th grade, each student writes and presents a Senior Talk to the entire senior class, or to a portion of their class, describing their personal and academic journey.
