Writing Assignment Description

Our school is taking first steps in help students find their voice related to belonging, race, and anti-racism. This piece was not actually created for a specific class, but the writer shared it with her English teacher after writing out her thoughts when Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were declared winners of the election. We hope our students take action in their lives, as Delia did when she got this piece published in our local paper.
