Seventh grade students at High Tech Middle in San Diego, California created this collection of stories as a result of hundreds of hours of writer’s workshop.
In the fall of 2015, High Tech High students designed staircases. They created scale models and full size "staircases to nowhere" around the school. Using play they designed a 1:10 staircase themselves.
Students delved into groundbreaking Harvard research around brain development in children ages 0-3 and found an unexpected path for personal expression of pain from personal trauma.
Wild Muir for Kids: A Collection of Short Stories was created by second grade students at Big Pine Elementary School as part of their Wilderness Warriors learning expedition, in which students studied John Muir and other individuals who have made a difference.
