This submission is created by Mrs. Davis's 2nd grade students in one of our EL Education Network Schools Grass Valley Charter School. As a culmination to their integrated learning, students created a glossy class book on Earth's Landscapes.
7th-grade students designed a compost system for the school based on research and worked with compost engineer experts as part of our soil expedition (Dead or Alive - the Dirt on Soil). Students first learned about soil, the importance of carbon in soil, what plants need, and nitrogen cycling.
Who is the real you? & How do you show it to the world? Where do you belong? & Where historically, has access been blocked from your people? In this class, we will deeply dig into how society depicts us versus how we portray ourselves.
